growth….

I joined Dahn Yoga a little more than a year ago and grew in more ways than I can count. I’ve changed many of my self-limiting habits through new activities such as working health fair booths and supporting the Healer Garage Sale; I’ve never been a sign post at an intersection before or learned so many different ways to approach others with the same product. I’ve increased my awareness of nature through outdoor trainings, as well as realizing it is fun to get up really early in the morning! I’ve learned to love others much more through exercises such as blind trust walk where we hold hands in a line, close our eyes, and depend on the previous person to guide us safely through an obstacle trail. I’ve developed my leadership skills by organizing a fourteen hour carpool to Dahnmudo Camp in Sedona with a group of eight; the drive was an adventure and the training in Sedona was wonderful. One benefit was that were all able to practice Dahnmudo during our rest-stops!

It took great courage for me to take action to change my habits and overcome my pre-conceptions about what I could and couldn’t do. Taking action is essential our growth process. We cannot benefit others without actually something.
