Some individuals may wonder about the intersection between yoga and spirituality. Centering and healing oneself through yoga is primarily a mental and physical pursuit, though it has a spiritual component.

Yoga has been in existence for thousands of years, during which time it has been adapted to the inner and outer movements of the the human body. In its most basic forms, yoga begins by addressing the body's natural flow of energy, called Ki.
